We're thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Fotaflo 4 for iOS and Android, the biggest update we've ever shipped. This isn't just an update - it's a complete rebuild of our appa, designed to make your day-to-day photo workflow faster, more intuitive, and more powerful than ever.
A Fully Native Experience
Fotaflo 4 has been rebuilt with a modern, fully native interface. You'll immediately notice the new bottom tab bar replacing the old hamburger menu, giving you quick one-tap access to your Dashboard and photo Groups.
Date and time formatting now respects your device's locale settings throughout the app - a small detail that makes a big difference in daily use. Change your device settings from 12 to 24-hour times and the Fotaflo app will match.
Groups: A Smarter Capture Workflow
The heart of Fotaflo has always been capturing great photos for your guests. In Fotaflo 4, we've completely reimagined this experience with Groups - a streamlined workflow that guides you from start to finish:

Start a New Group.

Capture your guest memories with photos and videos.

Assign contacts so guests receive their media.

Close the group - and optionally record a thank-you video as a personal touch.
Groups let you add and remove photos, videos, and contacts, at any time. Do you need to add a photo to the group from yesterday? No problem.
Wondering if media has been delivered? Groups show the delivery status for all their contacts.
Groups also feature auto-pause, which kicks in after a configurable period of inactivity. No more worrying about accidentally leaving contacts active.
If you forget to add contacts, don't worry, an optional pop-up will remind you when you close your session.
The new Groups screen keeps a complete history of your work, organised by date, so you can always go back and review.
Powerful Booking & Contact Management
Finding the right booking is now faster and easier. The new booking search lets you look up guests by name, email address, phone number, or booking ID, and filter results by date range or activity.
From the booking detail view, you can see booking info, guest lists, contact details, delivery status, and media stats, all in one place. Need to add or update a guest? You can add, edit, and remove guests directly from any booking.
We've also added OTA email detection that automatically identifies booking emails from online travel agencies, so you can collect the correct guest email address and make sure their photos actually reach them.
Import from Anywhere
You're no longer limited to the Photos library. Fotaflo 4 lets you import photos and videos straight from the Files app - including cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and more. Select multiple files at once and bring them right into your workflow.
A Better Media Viewer
Reviewing your photos and videos just got more enjoyable. The updated media viewer supports pinch-to-zoom and swipe to navigate between items in fullscreen.
Stay in the Loop with Push Notifications
Fotaflo 4 introduces push notifications, keeping you informed with real-time alerts and updates so you never miss what matters.
Contextual Tips That Help When You Need Them
New to Fotaflo, or just want a refresher? We've added contextual tips that appear right when they're relevant, whether you're starting your first session, uploading a photo, adding contacts, or searching for a booking.
Faster, Leaner Uploads
Under the hood, we've completely reworked how uploads work. The result: a smaller app, simpler upload pipeline, and uploads that continue reliably even when the app is in the background.
