Notifications bring real-time updates to Fotaflo - your way.** --- ### What is it? A powerful new notification system designed to keep you informed about the things that matter most to your business, in real time. Whether a guest just purchased photos, left you a 5-star rating, or became your newest brand advocate, you'll know about it immediately. Gone are the days of logging in to check if anything happened. Now, the important moments come to you via the Fotaflo app, your email inbox, your desktop, or even push notifications on your mobile device (coming soon). --- ### ![Screenshot 2026-01-19 at 9.24.36 am](https://www.fotaflo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-01-19%20at%209.24.36%20am.png?width=1988&height=958&name=Screenshot%202026-01-19%20at%209.24.36%20am.png) ### What Events Trigger Notifications? Here's what you'll stay informed about: | Notification | Why It Matters | | --- | --- | | **Guest Feedback** | Read personalized messages from happy guests | | **Guide Rating** | Know when guests appreciate your work | | **New Advocate** | Celebrate when a guest gets their first referral visitor | | **Top Advocate** | Your best advocates generating referrals | | **High Engagement Album** | Albums that are getting exceptional views | | **Guest Purchase** | The moment someone buys photos—revenue in real time! | | **Album Delivered** | Confirmation when albums are sent | | **User Invited** | Know when new team members are invited to your account | | **User Joined** | When an invited user accepts their invitation | | **Role Changed** | Security awareness when permissions change | --- ### Why Notifications Change Everything Before, staying on top of your Fotaflo activity meant constantly checking dashboards and reports. Now, the information comes to you: intelligently filtered, beautifully presented, and delivered exactly how you prefer. - **For Guides**: Know the instant someone purchases your photos or leaves you feedback. Celebrate your advocates and understand what's resonating with guests. - **For Administrators**: Get a bird's-eye view of all activity: ratings, feedback, deliveries, team changes, upload completion, delivery status—without micromanaging. - **For Everyone**: Stay informed without being overwhelmed. --- ### Key Features #### **Multi-Channel Delivery. You Choose How to Stay Informed.** Not everyone works the same way, and notifications adapt to you: - **Web Notifications**: A notification bell icon, and pop-up messages in the Fotaflo web application show unread notifications and new activity, so you never miss what's new. - **Email**: Get beautifully formatted emails with all the details, including actionable "Pro Tips" to help you respond effectively. - **Desktop**: Notifications pop up on your desktop, just like your other important apps. - **Mobile**: Coming soon to iOS and Android—stay connected on the go.   #### **Smart Notification Categories** We've organized notifications into three intuitive categories: | Category | What You'll See | Who Can Access | | --- | --- | --- | | **My Notifications** | Purchases of *your* photos, ratings and feedback for you, your new advocates | All users | | **Administrator** | Account-wide activity: team changes, all uploads, all deliveries | Admins only | | **System** | Platform announcements, account updates, important alerts | All users | #### **Digest Mode - Reduce the Noise** Prefer fewer interruptions? Set any notification type to: - **Immediate**: Get notified right away - **Hourly Digest**: One summary email per hour - **Daily Digest**: A once-a-day recap - **Weekly or Monthly Digest**: For less frequent activity types The web notifications page always shows all notifications, digests just control how often you're interrupted via email, desktop, and mobile. #### **Quiet Hours—Respect Your Off-Time** Set your quiet hours (default: 10pm–7am) and we'll hold notifications until you're ready for them. Your mornings can start with a digest of what happened overnight, delivered exactly when you want it. ![Screenshot of Quiet Hours settings](https://www.fotaflo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-01-19%20at%208.21.02%20am.png?width=600&height=134&name=Screenshot%202026-01-19%20at%208.21.02%20am.png) #### **Per-Notification Customization** Every notification type can be individually configured: - Enable or disable completely - Choose which channels (Web, Email, Desktop, Mobile) - Set your preferred frequency ![Screenshot 2026-01-19 at 8.46.29 am](https://www.fotaflo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-01-19%20at%208.46.29%20am.png?width=600&height=156&name=Screenshot%202026-01-19%20at%208.46.29%20am.png) --- ### We'd Love Your Feedback This feature is being rolled out to accounts over the coming weeks.
