Why should I give photos and videos away?

Consider that personal photos and videos are overwhelmingly the second reason why anyone does any experiential activity. In some cases personal photos and videos are the first reason some people do an experiential activity. The desire of having and sharing memorable experiences through photos and videos is ever-increasing. By promoting and gifting free photos, experiential businesses will:

How do my customers view their photos and video?

Your customers visit your customized web portal where they can view their photos and videos and share them with friends and family. You can customize the portal with your own calls to action, logo, phone number and more to maximize the value of referrals who view the shared albums.

What’s a referral lead?

You deliver photo and video albums to your customers. Your customers share their albums by email or on their social networks. Every unique visitor to the customer’s album is a referral lead. How many referral leads will you generate? It depends on your activity and the demographics of your customers but we typically see about 3-5 leads for every delivered album.

How do I get started?

What if I have multiple locations?

That’s no problem! You can create as many separate locations as you want in Fotaflo. Each location can have it’s own branding, users, cameras, labels, photos and videos.

Who takes the photos?

We recommend having your existing staff take photos. Chances are they’re already doing the work, they’re just doing it with your customers’ cameras and you’re not benefiting. Take the customer’s cameras out of your staff hands and let your customers enjoy their experience without the distraction of taking their own photos while gaining trackable referrals with Fotaflo.

What kind of cameras do I need? How many? How much do they cost?

The easiest and fastest way to get started is to install the Fotaflo app on an Android smartphone. Get started with one device and add more as you build out your photo solution. You can buy your own Android devices and we also sell specific smartphone models with rugged cases that we’ve selected based on millions of photos delivered in all outdoor conditions.

Most organizations need fewer than 5 cameras, but we’ve worked with clients that have 70+! You can also use any other camera and import new and existing photos through your web browser.

Do I need an internet connection?

You’ll need an internet connection to upload photos and videos from Android devices or to import existing photos and videos directly into Fotaflo. You can use a wired network connection, wi-fi, or cellular data directly from your Android devices. We’ve worked with many clients to solve internet connection and bandwidth challenges. Can I sell photos?

Yes, you can! We believe that the marketing value of giving away photos and videos is more than what you’ll earn in photo sales revenue, but we do have a complete photo sales solution. Every company’s photo and video sales strategy is different and that’s why we provide custom pricing solutions. Can customers print photos?

Customers can download their branded photos from your portal and print them at home or using any third-party service. We don't currently support printing or ordering prints directly from our software. However, we are planning to add options to order prints and other branded retail items in the future.
