We have two big changes to user management in Fotaflo coming soon.

  1. Disabling inactive users.
  2. Simpler user roles.

Disabling inactive users

This one's been a long time coming and we hope you find it helpful. You'll soon be able to disable any inactive users in your account. If you have old staff who are no longer at your company, or any other user accounts that you don't need to user anymore you'll be able to disable them.

Disabled users won't be able to sign in to Fotaflo and they won't show up in any lists like associating staff with album deliveries.

You can always reenable a user account to let them sign in again.

You'll be able to enable and disable users from the Users settings page after we release this update.

Simpler user roles

We've overhauled the user permissions system in Fotaflo to make it simpler and easier to manage your users.

We've received a lot of feedback about user permissions. We reviewed the existing system and we think we've come up with something that will meet your needs without being as complicated.

There are now only three user roles available:

Memory Creator
Capture and deliver photos and videos to guests.

Standard User
Everything memory creators can do. Send messages to guests, manage templates, reminders, branding, social media, and other marketing-related settings. View reports.

Administrator
Everything standard users can do. Manage all settings. Manage billing settings and receive billing notifications.

We've automatically set users to the most appropriate role based on their old permissions. But you can always edit your user roles from the Users page.

There isn't anything you need to do to prepare. The new user roles will be available in the near future.
